Practice / About Us

Hamiltons International is a design driven architectural practice initially established in London and incorporated in Singapore in 2006 to specifically focus on Projects in Asia and the Middle East. In 2008, the Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia office was established to directly service major developers in the country and region.

The core team have been living and practicing through-out the Asian / Middle East region for more than 30 years and was formed by partners, Andy Miller and Richard Scott-Wilson, whose early experience was gained as senior members of the London based practice Foster and & Partners, with 25 years experience of senior partner and board member and 12 years Associate partner respectively. Both lived, worked and managed offices in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.

The practice participates in projects with a wide range of scale, budget, use and location, encompassing private residences, office and residential towers; educational facilities, hotels and resorts, cultural and multi-use large scale projects and infrastructure/airports.

To date the practice has carried out designs in China, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Pakistan and UAE. Our design approach is to understand the historic, cultural and climatic context of each project to inform an interpretation and integration of these elements into an efficient contemporary design.
